Lauren Parsly LCSW

I am a clinical social worker who uses psychodynamic and evidence based practices to treat client's emotional, behavioral and interpersonal needs. I believe that the connection between therapist and client is the most important element of successful treatment.  Using a strength based approach, I strive to connect to my clients in a meaningful way, creating a safe space for them to explore difficult emotions, thought patterns, relational tendencies, and the ongoing impact of earlier experiences.
I have conducted in depth assessments with hundreds of clients, exploring emotional and behavioral symptoms in children and adults and identifying diagnoses that guide the course of client treatment.  I utilize creative and play therapy treatment modalities to connect successfully to younger clients. I work collaboratively with parents and the educational system as indicated to help children reach their full potential.  I have worked with and enjoy supervising other therapists.
